Will you still be able to play the Reapers Rewards Event Week 5 if you don't update your game for the patch that's coming out tomorrow?
I guessing that it would be no since you have to play offline if your not updating, but thought I would ask anyway.

I ended up updating on Thursday after MCCC and UI Cheats were updated. Had no problems but waiting for one more mod before I can continue updating my save file.
Tcee11 You'll need to have a connection in order for the game to retrieve the week 5 data. However, you might be able to put the EA App in offline mode, launch Sims 4, and then get the App back online. Watch carefully to make sure it doesn't try to update Sims 4 behind your back, and it's a good idea to have automatic updates disabled (under Settings > Application, I think) in general.
They do have downloads even if you have that shut off (under specific conditions: i.e., repairing or patching - unsure about going online WHILE playing). I bought a pack on sale before I was ready to deal with editing all the new Sims and whatnot (partially due to RR - and not realizing sales are SO frequent RN). I updated my game, launched it and noticed it was trying to download the pack!!! I stopped it and I hope the partial download didn't break my game.
A partial update seemed to "break" my game just a couple months before. I repaired my game and it started to install a patch, I canceled it and I saw a new, weird bug in my game. I finished patching and the bug persisted. So weird!
We all have to be VERY careful. It stinks!
I don't want to patch or start some new temp game for RR. (I noticed that a LOT of mods broke.) This stinks.
