Renovation taking a bizarre turn

This is not a bug as much as it is a weird mishap, but very game-breaking nevertheless.

I had completed a few renovations with the new Dream Home Decorator pack, when I was tasked by the Spencer-Kim-Lewis household to perform a child's room renovation.

The child in question, Olivia, was home and gladly answered questions about her new room... 

Olivia told me she is interested in: the color red, painting, reading, and MIXING DRINKS. 

Olivia, who is a child and can not even have this interest, requesting a child's room renovation (which, as a room, has absolutely nothing to do with this activity), wanted her new room to be built around mixing drinks. 

I am fairly sure the game pulled her interests out from the household "pool" of interests, since I know I went into the game in advance and gave most EA-made characters sensible color, music and activity favorites in advance.

I think all the defining features Olivia gave are from the actual household pool of interests, but NONE are ones she is actually interested in herself.

    @Strangelovekraft That is a shame, I was hoping that method would work for my own playsave. 

    If you report it as a bug I will click Me Too (link it here for others to see). I think it is mainly feedback, but EA  wants to keep the game age appropriate (for americans), so this particular example would perhaps make them listen.

    The Likes/Dislikes for premade Sims are generated randomly. This may lead to unexpected results on occasion.

    This is however not a bug. I hope that they eventually add a filter for appropriate age and one for conflicting traits. For instance a Sim with the Active trait should not have a dislike of fitness.

    These ones should not be random, though, since this is a family (among most other EA families) I had already provided appropriate likes and dislikes for to avoid weird situations like this.

    I have made sure to assign appropriate likes and dislikes for almost all sims in my save, so that children prefer children's music, child appropriate hobbies etc, the Goths love black, Sims who craft or cook as their job like it etc. because it would be extremely game breaking for me to go on a gig to the Tinker family lot to hear they HATE green, crafting and gardening and want a rocket science -themed bathroom. 

    Child sims can not have the drinks mixing hobby assigned for them - but their parents can, and I assume in my case little Olivia's dad or granddad is interested in the activity, which is why the game suggested it as one of the themes.
