Romance Bar Red

HI!! Recently I got my sims married, their friendship bar and romance bar were full, then on their wedding day the romance bar went completely red. So I tried fixing their relationship, but every time I do a romantic interaction the romance bar just goes down even though I see a + sign. My sims are always have positive moods when interacting with each other as well, I'm just so confused...
