Romance glitch

So when i first start a game all the romance options are normal and the game works perfectly fine, however after like playing for an hour or whatever the romance options start to disappear and all i can do is the affection give a gift option and that doesnt even work, no matter what i do i still have this problem, ive repaired my game so many times and it still does nothing, the sims have full romance bar and friendship bar and they are married so someone please help as to why this keeps happening.
