I’ve just downloaded the werwolves sims pack and while playing I noticed that the romance option is not appearing. I’m not sure if the it’s an issue with the recent update or just a problem with my game. The sims aren’t related and are also both young adults. I’ve also seen something about sims previously being skeletons having issues with this but that isn’t the case for either of these sims
Here is a thread I found related to problems with romance interactions. If it is the same issue that you are experiencing, you can reply to that thread and describe what is happening in your game.
Romance options have gone for all my sims with any other sim in the game, this includes all old saves as well. I've searched through the forums and found similar issues following this update but they were all resolved by it being specific sims or related to each other etc. This is irrelevant in my case and I can't find another solution.
I removed mods and it worked again. I managed to narrow it down to the MC Command Centre mod. I played for a few hours with no problems with my remaining mods (I'm very careful to keep them updated). After travelling to Salvadore I turned into a skeleton and when I got home (and human) the romance option was gone for everyone again.
I did the cheat to remove the hidden trait of Skeleton from all my active sims but it made no difference.
I then removed all mods again and reloaded - no change.
Factory reset my game and started a new one - problem solved - I reinserted two of my old saves into the new Sims 4 folder (changed nothing else) - neither save (totally different games) worked but the new one still did.
I then performed a repair on the game through the EA app - no change.
It may work on the new game but I'm worried that the issue will return in time as the initial problem has not been solved as it did initially. Plus, I don't want all my other saves to be unplayable. I can't think of anything else to try and can't find an answer on other forums. Does anyone here have any suggestions?
Edit: I've just tried loading my family into a new game and the issue still remains + I tried playing an EA created family and their adults don't have the romance option either with various different adults around the world.
