Roof trim overhangs/clipping?

I've noticed an issue when connecting roofs-- the trim will clip through the wall and overhang. Is there a way to avoid this? I've managed to mitigate the issue by splitting roofs into two segments, ...

@SynapticRelay95 Hello! Well, I have found that some roof styles and some overlaps of them/types of joints are more likely to have this unattractive 'joint' area, and some will clip and some will not. Kinda drives me nuts too.

Personally, what I do is just experiment, and if I cannot get the area that they join to behave as desired I find a different way to roof the area. Sometimes these issues can be solved by moving in the adjustment of one or both of the overhang amount at the edge(s) of the roof. Sometimes it involved creating the roof section via a combination of roof styles or roof types. I have sometimes used the 'half gabled roof' or a method of using several roof sections up against the other and adjust ing the overhang part differently for certain sections as needed.
