Royalty and Legacy not showing up in game after purchased

I brought the pack on the EA app and downloaded it and says its installed. when I go into the sims4 game it says I have not brought it. Before purchasing the pack, the in game store said it was unavailable to purchase and it still says that. I created a new save and I was able to see the new pack and play in it but it wasn't showing in the old save, and when I later went to try creating a new save again it wouldn't show up again. The money was taken out of my bank account and the EA app says I own it but it doesn't show in my game.
