Thank you so much for your reply and your advice. I figured I had messed something up when I added the platforms, but to be honest, this is the first time I’ve tried using them after watching a few tutorials on YouTube. I was hoping to level up and build something more elaborate than my usual square blockhouses, hahaha. I’ll follow your advice and try adding them inside after rebuilding the basic structure. Byab128 I wish you well and have fun in the process! I have my periods of playing in 'live mode' for sure now-a-days, but I've tended to spend much of my play time building in the last 2-3 years. I've grown to love the building process, but I'm no speed builder. I've had builds where I spent days working and re-working just the roof, so when something is just not working out as I planed on a lot I try to look at it not as time I wasted building up to that point, but more as this is my game, so reworking something is just me continuing to play, and in the process I try to challenge myself, learn and expand, and push myself to build something creatively or in a style that's a challenge to me.
Anyway... sorry, I digress... enjoy your building and learning process, then plunk in some sims and see how much they love living in it! 🙌
