[Seek advice] Transferring a family to a new save file
I have a save file that I started in 2018. Many times I have resaved it to a new slot (by doing save as), but now I would like to create a new one and would like to transfer my main family from the old save without losing the family tree.
The problem is that this family does not all live together. In order to keep the family tree do they all have to live together again? Or is there another system?
I'd prefer not to use Mods.
- @GiardiniDiMarzo If you save a family of 8 in your library the family tree for these 8 sims won't be lost.
But all relations to other sims will vanish.
