Please keep out of it. This is not about you. This is neither about cheating, accusing or being accused. This is about how easily it could be avoided.
This is, among other things, about
- PROFESSIONALITY (a developer's pride shouldn't allow it)
- RATIONALITY (why should any rating system work like this??)
- but most of all, RESPONSIBILITY. This has been going on for a very long time and has been communicated to EA/Maxis through various channels. Things are now so bad among players that we have usernames dragged onto other platforms. EA/Maxis is supporting this by not changing the conditions that lead to this. Conditions, if I might add, that are completely unique in the realm of serious rating systems.
I think bad blood among players should have the highest priority.
