Sim cannot cook even with open counter available

Is there anything hanging from the ceiling over the counter, or over the place where the sims would stand to cook?

Any cabinets over the counters?

Light fixtures hanging low from the ceiling?

Objects on the walls?

If you post a picture of the kitchen area people might be able to spot the issue (if there is an issue like this to spot)
