Sim dying of starvation after May 12 2026 Update

My sim keeps dying of starvation every time she goes to bed and then wakes up, only experienced this behavior after the May 12 update.  I force quit after she dies, clear the cache files, and restart gameplay.  She eventually dies again, and this time Grim is stuck in the bathroom and my sim cannot be pled for or revived.  Anyone experiencing similar behavior post update??  I also noticed she is the only sim in the household blowing hot air (like she's cold) indoors after the update as well.
