Sim will not automatically do anything

Hello! My occult vampire sim will not do anything automatically and is constantly glitched. He wont go to school, football practice, or even home after school unless manually made to. In fact, there is no home button in the corner of his little window when school is over!! I have to press on him and select "go home." He also most of the time does not have homework and it will constantly say "homework completed" even though he hasn't done it, causing his grades to go down. Although he constantly practices football, his stats wont go up, even with a maxed out fitness level. I was thinking it could be an issue with my mods as i do have a few cas mods + a background mod, but my other occult sim (spellcaster, if that makes a difference) has no issue with her school, cheerleading, homework, etc. Should I just delete and remake him or?? Sorry if this is confusing!!!
