Sim won't sit down and I can't repair

I have multiple sims that live in different houses but there is a very specific that won't sit down anywhere. Every time I try he does the animation where like he can't get to it even if he's standing right next to it. I've gone to my other sims through mange worlds and they don't have this problem. I have Sims installed through steam but Verifying the files through steam doesn't work and I can't repair it through the EA app. Any ideas on how to fix this?
