[Sims 4] Can't transfer funds to Vet Clinic?

Hi all,

Via build mode with no household owning the Vet Clinic, I transferred a vet clinic from the Gallery to the lot. I then had my sim buy the property, and I cannot transfer funds to the clinic and therefore cannot even open the clinic. I am able to click the "Transfer funds" button, type in an amount from my household, AND press confirm. But it doesn't actually transfer any funds. I've tried from the option in build mode while on the clinic lot, and the Sim's clinic tab.

I've sold and rebought the clinic twice, repaired my game, and can't find any cache files to delete. I have never used any mods. I really don't want to have to move the Sims 4 folder and redownload, but I don't know what else to do. Attaching a screenshot to prove I do in fact know the process of transferring funds.

Someone please help so I don't throw my laptop out the window 🙂

  • Actually was able to choose a different lot as my vet clinic and copy the same property over. Now transfering fine. Weird work around but works!

@ewitsajillyfish What lot did you try when it didn't work ? Could you test if a different clinic works on that lot for you ?
  • I can't transfer funds from my store to my household or vice versa.

whenever I try to transfer funds, it won't let me type in an amount into the bar. I've tried to transfer when the store is closed and I'm at home. I've tried when I'm at the store and it's closed. I've even tried when it's open.

I've tried saving and closing the game, updating, etc. I've found no solutions. Can anyone help?

  • No mods or anything like that. The store is one I downloaded from the community however.

@Jahmes44 Check if a clean folder will fix it: Exit Sims 4 then drag your whole Sims 4 folder from Document > Electronic Arts to your desktop. Launch Sims 4 and reset your Options. Then check on a new save. If that works, you can copy your previous saves back into your new folder. (And Tray contents, etc.). If it doesn't, try a Game Repair in the EA App/Origin.
