Hi,Now that Sims 4 is free I don't feel the need to have an EA play subscription any longer. However, I have bought expansion packs through the Origin application on my PC. If I remove my EA play subscription, will I still have my expansion packs?

@MD0G12 Hello! If you decide to end your EA play subscription, you would only lose the benefits such as the early access / trials and member rewards like the 10% discount. You will not lose any of the DLC packs that you've purchased. If you have Play Pro, you would no longer have access to Dine Out or Kids Room Stuff unless you buy them. You would also retain all of your save files. So after you get the free TS4 download, just launch it from your game library and keep playing same as always. Happy Simming!

Hi, I have a question about it to. So I pay ea play and ea promised the pack get to work for ea play but I can't redeem it. It says I have to pay but the pack is on the list for free. Does anyone know what I should do cause ea help does not help at all, They know less then I do. Thank you.

@JonaO703 I have a question about the EA App. I just got a new pc and downloaded the app, everything is ok except when im looking at the purchase page all the sims packs for sale say "DLC is missing" on the front?? What's that about??

@Pandaluh_13 Hi! I'm afraid I don't understand your question. I'm not seeing anything about Get To Work being added to EA Play. Did you get an invitation to try GTW for free or something like that? If so, I wonder if it's possible that the trial period has ended.

@chelsugar Hi! I'm not seeing what you've described in the EA App. I only just started using it myself. Do you mind sharing a screen grab of what you're seeing?
This is my view. The only thing I don't have is the Bust the Dust Kit though.
I've heard there are still a lot of issues with the EA app and since I still don't know much about it, you might want to post on the EA app forum here...

@JonaO703I don't have EA play, but in this article it says "EA Play and EA Play Pro members will receive an upgraded experience when member-only bundles of The Sims 4 go into The Play List on October 18. The Sims 4 EA Play Edition includes The Sims 4 Get To Work Expansion Pack, while the EA Play Pro Edition includes both The Sims 4 Get To Work Expansion Pack and The Sims 4 Toddler Stuff Pack."
@Pandaluh_13Is there an option for you for a free "Sims 4 EA Play Edition" rather than getting Get to Work separately?

Did that attachment send? How do I download origin? When I googled it, it just lead me to ea app download instead as I know it's getting replaced

@chelsugar Do you own those packs, or is that just EA's way of marking "unowned"?

Not sure if you can still get Origin on Windows. EA App is basically the new Origin (though I'm on Mac; EA App isn't available on Mac yet, so I still have Origin. Sounds like I'm not missing anything.)

@chelsugar I can see your attachment and thanks for sharing. That is strange. Have you installed TS4 and all your purchased DLC on your new PC?

@PipMenace OK yeah thankyou! I wondered the same thing actually...if its just thwir way of saying unowned, but Ive just messaged someone from the ea team so hopefully i can get more clarity there. Thanks!

@JonaO703 Yes, I downloaded my sims 4 and all the expansion packs etc downloaded with it just fine.
