The father winter trait had been cheated on this sim.. it actually never showed father winter as his father in his tree before or after removal of the trait
@Amberboo142 Is there any father showing ? That's usually the case if you can't add another.
There is no father in the tree at all. Just his mom. No blank photo, no father winter and a father can not be assigned. It is a game bug for sure. The father winter trait was cheated in on this sim and even after removal though a father was never present in his tree, one can not be added.
- @Amberboo142 It is possible that the cheat added something that you would have remove separately as well but I wouldn't know. Also keep in mind that cheats aren't supported by Maxis.
There is a report here: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/WORKAROUND-Cannot-edit-pre-existing-sims-Family-relationships/m-p/9765274 but that is always if a father exists in the tree.
