Sims 4 Get Famous inappropriate romantic interactions

I've just had a couple of really cringeworthy moments with my celebrity Sims. Ugh, shudder.

Firstly my actor Sim had to do a love scene with an actor in costume who I didn't pay much attention to. It was just a flirt scene. I noticed afterwards to my horror, the actor in costume was her famous mother, Judith Ward.

Her famous husband is getting flirty texts telling him he's "so hot"...from his sister. He's then in a flirty mood for hours. Ick. His wife then started getting them from his sister too. I've had this before with a Sim's father too.

Obviously the familial links aren't quite working and things are getting a bit icky.

    Ugh, I've fallen victim to the "group conversation leads to inappropriate love interest" bug and... yeah. Usually I recommend the roommate behaviors checking valid ages mod, but I don't know if that would help in this instance.

    If they have a romance bar, you can use the UI Cheats mod to get rid of it. UGH.

    @xochiquetzl_xkvn I'm on console so no mods unfortunately. But I also had the group conversation romantic problem with these same Sims. Judith Ward should not have joined them in the pagoda at their wedding reception as that conversation got very awkward, very quickly! So do chats at breakfast with the kids there as the parents cannot stop flirting with each other. It might be complicated for the team to address for console but it's all a bit cringe!

    @simsplayer818  Ask to Just Be Friends works beautifully without harming their friendship.  I had to use that with my Sim and her teen daughter (Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!) and they're still good friends. (The daughter autonomously joined the conversation while she was serenading her husband and immediately got a romance bar, yuck.)

    @xochiquetzl_xkvn Thanks for your tips, yes I've used that before. But my romance bar doesn't go away fully. It empties but stays there. It didn't appear, luckily with her mother it just made her mother angry and caused a negative relationship with her son in law. So I kept them separate and stopped all the family gatherings and just kept in touch with them over the phone.
    For the work love scenes I just saved it before accepting the acting role then if her mother was her romantic co-star again I would have exited and tried a different gig. This is a pretty creepy problem. I hope it gets addressed.
