On my game it sales the Sims4 has a sale going on. I had bought the "High school years" just fine on the other day. When I click on an expansion pack I want to buy, it says its $19.99. But when I click "Buy now" it says the full price of $39.99???????

@Kambeach Again, Steam is not currently offering a sale on Sims 4 content. The EA App is, which is why you're seeing the sale prices. Either buy directly through the App or wait for a Steam sale.
I'm seeing a bunch of expansion packs on sale including cats and dogs pack for $19.99 but when I try to buy it, it's not on sale in steam?
hey yall currently as of 06/01/23 sims has posted a 50% off sale but when i go to check out in steam my cart reflects the normal price, its not something i can fix if the two things( Sims servers and steam servers) are not communicating the proper price, i almost bought a pack thinking i was paying the sales price but i was paying full
@journeytheweirdo I believe none of the packs are on sale in Steam, only the EA App. So either buy C&D directly from the App, or wait for a Steam sale.
I believe the current sale is not available on Steam. Only on EA App (or Origin for Mac users) or EA web. Even with Steam version of the game, you can still buy through EA App or web. Or you can wait for sale on Steam.

hey i had the same problem---the discount doesn't apply on Steam.
You'll have to log in to EA through the EA app----and then make your purchase there.
It'll work---you'll just have to download the packs you've bought through EA, and then you can launch Sims4 either through the EA app or on Steam.
Worked for me.
