When i play the Sims 4, time suddenly stayes still, when i put zime speed 3 it changes shortly, then when i go normal it goes back to the freezed time... I tryed to go neighborhood view but now its ...

Currently having an issue where the game clock freezes, and I'm unable to select family members, even though my cursor and camera still is able to move.
Whenever i decide to fast-forward the speed the time "jumps" between 2-4 hours ahead, with the environment turning brighter and reverting back after slowing the speed.
This happens on both DirectX 9 and 11 without any mods or DLC packs. Tried repairing the game to no avail as well as resetting user files.
