Sims 4 University Roommate

Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.59.73.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Discover University, Cats and Dogs, City Living. Seasons
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Clicking on computer or phone
What happens when the bug occurs? Option to place an advertisement in Household section not found
What do you expect to see? Option to place an advertisement for a roommate
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

I just want my sim enrolled in university to have a roommate but the option to place an ad for one never shows up. Why is this happening?

    @annie_bros_5 You should also have a dialog option to ask another Sim directly if they would like to be a roommate. Is that working for you?

    If they are not homeless or part of a single-Sim household they will decline your offer, but you should still see the option to ask them. If they are homeless + in a single-Sim household they should accept your offer and become your new roommate (that's when the real adventure begins!).
