Sims can't scoot in a restaurant booth

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All except MFPS
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Place a restaurant booth with a table and another one across from it, place them against a wall, both sides touching the wall, open the restaurant, and wait for a group of at least three to enter.
What happens when the bug occurs? The sims can't slide over, causing one or two sims (depending on the group size) to say that they can't get in.
What do you expect to see? I expect to be able to place booths like this like a lot of restaurants and have sims be able to scoot over to allow other sims to come and sit.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
I really just want to be able to have this done so I can have more realistic restaurant styles.
