Sims cant use personal items
So I created a sorority the other day and moved 4 sims in together, however, when I try to get them to use their homework books or presentation boards, it says "place in world" and when I do, it says my sim does not own the item. It won't let me sell any items in my inventory either. I tried to purchase a new homework book and I emailed the professor about a new presentation board, but it says the same thing about not being able to sell them or do anything with them because my sim "does not own the item".
I have all of the packs and updated. I do have mods but I completely removed my mods folder and that did nothing. I also cleaned my cache folder out as well and that did nothing.
@HaleyKohl17 , thank you for telling us that you use mods and that you took out your mods folder to test and deleted your cache folder! 😇
Just to be sure was it the localthumbcache.package file that you deleted? 🤔 You want to be sure to delete that particular one ! 🙂
I looked to see if there was already a bug report on this topic. There was a similar one, but it was more about the presentation board disappearing , not that the Sims were unable to use it.
