Sims changing clothes for the appropriate season (In Seasons Expansion)

Can we put in a patch request for the Sims to autonomously change clothes to reflect the 'cold weather' or 'hot weather' clothing assigned to them? They automatically change to the other outfits - workout, swimming, sleeping, formal, etc. - when appropriate to the activity type are engaging in...

But... if you don't happen to catch them and make them (successfully) change to to hot or cold weather clothing once winter or hot weather summer arrives, at some point they will suddenly be blue saying they are about to freeze to death - or the opposite in summer, they are about to boil to death.

What?!

For example, in the current household I'm playing, I keep having this particular Sim I'm working on skills for change into his winter clothes because he's uncomfortable due to to the cold, and he just took a shower and came out in his default clothes (not winter clothes)... so here we go again. Grrrr... 😕 On the other hand, there's another guy in the household running around in his PJs (tanktop) and he has no complaints. Go figure. On the other hand, sometimes a Sim will automatically do the Houdini spin and change into their cold weather clothes as soon as they're heading outside. It all seems rather random to me.

So... I vote for an update/patch that will have them autonomously change to their hot or cold weather outfit when appropriate - or at least when it is life-threatening to them.

My sims have always changed for the appropriate weather, including toddlers. Have you considered starting a brand new game to see if that still happens?

@troshalom, while I can't speak for @SheriGR , my Sims don't always change into the appropriate clothing, and I've played many different Save Games. 🤨 Still, the advice you give is good and worth a shot for those who only play one save game! 😇
I will add that Sims with the "Erratic" personality trait (formerly the "Insane" personality trait) might be more likely to wear inappropriate clothing no matter what the weather or occasion is! 😉 I know that this is not causing all the instances where our Sims don't dress correctly for the weather, but I just thought I should add it as one of the causes, at least when Erratic Sims are concerned! 🙂

@troshalom Thank you, and that is a good suggestion. I have several saved games, though, so I have not just played on one, I use no Mods of CC, and run ocasional game repairs as well.
