Sims files

I downloaded a sim file from drop box and no matter what I do I can’t find it in my sims gallery. It’s from a sim tumblr page and I love the sim I just can’t find him after I I’ve put the file in tray and done everything I was told to do

@PugLove888  thanks for the tag! :D

What is the file called, and could you post a screenshot of your tray-folder?

If the sim has any cc on you need to enable cc in the filter menu to the left in the gallery to see those households that use cc 🙂

Do you have other sims or mods that work fine?

  • All my mods work fine and I’ve gotten houses through tray and they have worked but for some reason this one won’t. My tray file is filled with stuff but I’m not sure what is suppose to be there and what isn’t that’s why I haven’t touched it. Currently I have nothing important in tray folder just stuff I’m not sure where it goes and the sim file

I can see you have a WinRAR file in there (tray.rar). This does not belong there but needs to be unpacked with WinRAR.

Notice Windows hides the .rar extension. You can disable that in settings for Files and folders. Remove the checkmark by "Hide extensions ...)

@jpkarlsen I made sure to do that, I took out that tray.rar file and removed the checkmark
