Sims freezing and UI not working + some infinite loading

Hi ive been having a sorta strange problem that i cant seem to fix where the sims will freeze and stop doing qued actions. They just stand in place making sim noises and maybe turning their heads but that's all, its also *all* this sims in the family not just one. I've had the issue where one does this freeze but not the whole family. Along with this freezing comes a weird UI glitch. Im no longer able to toggle between active sims using space or clicking on their headshots at the bottom. The UI gets stuck up on the sim that was being controlled when the glitch occurs and when I attempt to switch to a new sim to control the UI doesn't change. Ive got to pause the game for it to update and show who it is I'm controlling but then goes right back to being stuck.

Ive had some infinite loading occur with this as well but this is the part that makes it unplayable.

I *do* play with mods but have removed them and the problems still occur. Ive moved the problem family to a new lot and still it happened. The only time it seems not to happen is when I was playing with one of the children ( I play in one save w multiple active households the parents and her kids who moved out. The parent's household seems to be the issue) the problems also didn't seem to start until after the new lovestruck pack(unowned) and its e-paches.  I've removed the mods, deleted the local cache and repaired the game multiple times and none of it seemed to help. I'm out of ideas and beginning to become quite frustrated any help would be so helpful, thanks.

The house is full! I've got 2 elders, 2 adults/young adults, 3 infants, and a single dog, lol. The infants and dogs happened when I was playing with a different household, so I came back and was quite surprised to see a full house.

yes its quite similar. from the sound of it, their sims will unfreeze or freeze at different times. all mine do so at the same time and don't seem to unfreeze at all.

It seemed to have helped a little when I played for a short time, but I played again for longer (I think), and the freezing persisted even with autonomy off. The whole family froze again. This problem did end up happening with a few of the children's households as well. They are much smaller, however, one of the households has 4 the other 5. The only thing that has changed between now and then with said households is they also now have infants. (the parent household also does as well) maybe that has something to do with it?

as for the other issue you linked I do experience that every time the freezing happens. Im no longer able to switch active sims w/o pausing but tbh switching sims is useless if they no longer do what I ask and freeze.

sorry for a long time to respond I wanted to make sure that it did/didn't work before answering.

@JMoldypotato The switch is on the laundry list so it should be fixed soonish. I guess best is if you wait and post back after the patch how it's going.

I had something similar and I have 4 in the house.  It’s happened several times but I’m not sure what the exact fix was (it was waiting on an action from one the sims and, once completed, everyone started moving again)

The last time this happened, I had a sim sleeping while others were studying, eating, etc.  when everyone froze as you described, I told my sleeping sim to wake up and after if got out of bed, all the other sims started moving again.
