Sims leaving the university housing?

Hi, So I left my sims in the university housing for a while and now get back to the university housing (or dorm, my sims live in dorm). Usually I do this, so I dont have to play them while they are in uni and they seems to do the job by themselves. My sims have GPA of grade B and course credit of 4 out of 12. Just after I load his place, the game said leaving and pack.. I just press 'ok' as I dont know how many days I left him while playing other household. I enroll him at the uni after that and continue his degree program. Now I can't leave the game or save the game because we cannot do while sims is packing up and moving out..but my sims is not moving or anything..maybe the first notification? How do I undo this?
