Sims Save Won’t Load, Kicks to Main Screen

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:Xbox Series S
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? I can’t find this.
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All of them besides Journey to Batu and My First Pet Stuff
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? It is when loading into my save game it won’t load and kicks me to the main screen.
What happens when the bug occurs? The bug occurs when I click to load my save game. It loads to the end of the loading screen and then kicks me back to the home page.
What do you expect to see? I want to be able to play my save and not have to uninstall everything again because I already did that. I want to be able to load into my saves without issues.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

Thank you guys for the help! I loaded into a different household in the world and then clicked switch control to the household that was broken and I was able to make that work!

I don’t get an error code. I get it to load to the point where it should start but then the loading screen freezes and it kicks me to the Xbox home screen again.

@Cambree03I would recommend deleting your cache first and foremost:

Xbox button on your controller, then go to Settings.
Devices and Connections-->Blu-Ray--> Persistent Storage, select Clear.

Sometimes a power cycle also helps. But if none of this helps, your save might be corrupted, so as a last-ditch effort, what you can try to do is go into Manage Game and delete your local save, then re-sync it from the xbox cloud.
Edit: Just a disclaimer that there's always a risk that something won't sync correctly and your save will be lost (theoretically it shouldn't, but errors happen), so I always recommend this last.

Unfortunately this is usually a symptom of an issue of the save game but troubleshooting on XBox is insanely difficult, especially when you don't get any error codes.

Could you try the follwoing things

- Test a new save and see if that works
- Load the save with load instead of resume and see if the map loads
- If it does, check if it's multiple households affected.
- If a new save works but the current one doesn't, do you have a backup you could try ?
