sims stop walking to do an interaction to laugh and then continue

I click on something to make my sims do an interaction and they start walking to do it then suddenly stop, laugh and then continue walking to do their interaction like nothing happened. It's been lik...

Are they stopping in the same relative area(s) each time? My sims do that when they get close to a playful painting or decoration that has its emotional aura enabled.

@crimsonclover324 No it's anywhere the sims are, i just make them do an interaction and they take a step or two then just stop and laugh and then carry on walking.
