Sims won't publish books or play violins

Super frustrating. I've noticed two recent issues.  #1 - My Sims won't publish any book. After they finish writing the book I can see in their inventory and they can do everything with the book but ...

I thought that that might have been an issue so I I closed down the game and it seemed that it needed an update. The game updated, but the issue didn't resolve, I also restarted my Mac, but still no solution. Sigh..

@kaleneaj Are you getting any lastException files ? Did you test multiple SIims ?

This sounds exactly like the issue what was patched.

      @kaleneaj Check your user folder in documents if there's any files called LastException (possibly with a number)

        Yes, I found a few LastException files and some LastUIException files as well. Should I delete them?
