There's been a discussion in the German section of AHQ whether the Sixam Mosquito Trap has got any positive impact on insects/bugs.
The user planted it in a sim's garden because they thought it would prevent any infestation with bugs.
Has anyone got additional information about this plant?
That's an interesting idea. I've always thought of the Sixam Mosquito Trap as just a curiosity, with no actual purpose.
I have to agree with @Sketch793 . I have never found any use for it other than selling the produce to help with the household finances. Not worth much, but every little bit helps when you're playing broke sims.
Thanks for your answers. I would have never thought the plant could be helpful against bugs. The user seems to think it must be a bug because of this description:
Its intimidating look is much less of a concern to Sims than to the wandering insect.
