While playing Sims 4, I tried adopting a couple strays. When I interacted with them for a bit, I tried adopting them but they were no longer strays. I searched for help, and realized other households autonomously adopt those strays. So, is there a way to disable other households from doing that?
@PetSimmers Do you use MCCC ? If so, check the options to turn off adoption strays there.
I don't have any specific cats & dogs cc/mods, as I mostly use them for my sim.
I went on manage households to check if the strays were adopted, and I did see them in a few households.
But I did read the article about fixing it, I'll be sure to try it out (:

I do have MCCC, but when I disabled it on the population settings, I could no longer see if dogs were strays or not (I couldn't see their names aswell), although I could still see if cats were strays or not as usual.
Nevermind, I just had to restart my game after disabling stray adoption in MCCC.

For a mod-free solution you could also enable testingcheats and then (Shift + Click) on the pet and select Add to Family.
