stuck between "select world" screen and Strangerville

so i loaded my save file for the first time since the big update. when i tried to go to Strangerville, I got stuck on the white screen between the world select menu & the world map.

i can view every world except SV; i tried restarting, cleared the game cache, created a new save file, and tried moving/deleting my mods + CC but no luck ☹️

i've seen a bunch of other people with similar load-screen issues since the update but nothing specifically like this... i'm honestly hoping it's an issue with TOOL mod that TwistedMexi can patch out, lol.

is there anything else i can try in the meantime??
