stuck forever loading

i recently stared a new build on entire new game today and i decided to use the residential rental feature but for some reason, after saving and exiting and coming back a hour later, i hop back on and i go to the same plot to continue building since i wasn't finished. i was stuck on the loading screen for 10 minutes, so i force closed sims 4 and opened it again, only for it to get stuck on the loading screen for the plot AGAIN for an entire 30 minutes while i made my bed. then, i went to backup my saves and then i reset ts4 and then i brought my save files back to the recent electronic arts folder made! it got stuck loading again and is still loading.

ive read and seen it might be because a save file might've become corrupt or smth, but im not sure. can someone help tell me whether my save file is corrupted or if somehow i can get unstuck from this infinite loading screen??
