stuck on the loading screen

What game version shows in the lower left corner of the main menu ?

Do you have any LastException files in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 ?

• Delete the ones you have
• Trigger the error again
• Check if new ones are created
• If that is the case, please copy/paste the content here. You can open the file with any text editor.

Deleting the file won't fix your issue. Posting the info is meant for troubleshooting. 

I tried removing the mods and my cc, and even then, when I try to launch my game to play with my Sims, it just gets stuck on the loading screen for hours. I thought maybe I should just let it load, but it simply won't. And whenever I try to open the game through the EA app, it keeps telling me I need to update the game, even though I already have. No matter how many times I press the update option, it keeps saying I need to update the game.

Honestly, I don't know what to do anymore. 😞

• Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do. Please pick a thread tag for that.
• What platform are you playing on (PC, Mac, Playstation, XBox). Please pick a thread tag for that.

Same thing is happening to me. It's right after launching, the plumbob disappears but then freezes and never gets to the main menu...
