I hope you don't make the same mistake this time as you did with the Generations expansion pack. That is, that you let everyone download the patch and later the expansion pack at the same time. EA Apps got blocked and crashed, and hasn't worked very well since then. Intermittently yes, but there are little things here and there.
You should remember better that worldwide specifically means worldwide, not US-wide. There are many more players and from all over the world and if everyone shows up at the same time, your equipment can't handle it and will get stuck.
And I for one, as a paying customer, want good service, not stuck software and bad service. You seem to have completely forgotten this over time.
And as a reminder, there are some new simulation games out there that may challenge you not only in quality, but also in customer service.
Well this one is been hyped too and a lot, so same thing may happen again. If they have not done nothing about it. And in my opinion, phased release was a better option than the current system. And I for one don't care if someone is the first to spot all the bugs and errors and report it. Better that they do. At least then I would know to wait until the worst bugs and errors are fixed. The add-on is still the same price whether I buy it now or later.
And if it's bad publicity for the company, then the company should think about what it's doing or not doing, because the guilty party is not the aware customer but the company.
