I can not for the life of me figure out how to change the landing area of the stairs when you have it rotated several times. I have done everything possible to lay flooring down, trim, carpet, even lay a rug on it but it won't place on it. All I get is this ugly concrete slab that won't change with anything I try to do. I have even moved the stairs outside of the platform, built a basement underneath but no nothing, any suggestions?
Glad you had a picture. No, it's not how many times you've twisted the stairs. There is no way to adorn the landing. I wanted very much to add a very small table on my landing, like I have at home. (Or even a small plant.) Nope, not allowed. I suppose if you wanted to use MOO (Move Objects On) you could place it, but if I understand this cheat correctly, you have to play that lot with the cheat on. Sorry, wish I had better news for you. Now, let's hope a building whiz comes along with the secret.
I've never seen it do that. It's always the same color and material of the stairs. You might try shift clicking reset object to the stairs or even scrapping the stairs, save, go to manage worlds then back into that household. Sometimes that resets stuff so you don't have to go all the way out of game.
