They're fixing the gameplay of the wedding pack before it releases, right?
I can't buy My Wedding Stories with its current state, I know from seeing early access contents. So full of bugs, almost nothing worked well.

So I bought a wedding cake 1 h before the wedding, when I put it out for my newlyweds to cut it, it was rotten. Couldn’t cut it or anything. It stank and my sims wasn’t able to share that moment together. My flower girl, ring boy and maid of honor didn’t work. I didn’t get a confirmation after I asked them if they would be my maid of honor. Same with flower and ring person. I downloaded a beautiful church from the gallery and made a outside part where I wanted them to have a first dance and eat. The whole family was there, but they didn’t sit down when I told them to. Walking down the aisle didn’t work! Random people started coming into the ceremony. A random woman stood right in-front of the bride and groom. The piano guy didn’t play the piano, he started talking to all the random sims and they stood right behind the bride. Couldn’t get one good photo. Missed the first kiss cuz of them. I love the new world, it’s beautiful, but I hate that my sims can’t propose in-front of the lighthouse. It just wouldn’t work, really sad about that. The first dance didn’t work, and when they started to dance the wedding was over, it took so long for them to stop glitching and just standing still. Throwing the Bouquet is really glitched aswell. Told everyone to get ready for the throw, one person came, and I had to manually tell her to stand there and catch it. Sucks that I was only able to throw it to a sim that’s in my family. Waited to marry my two sims for weeks, for what? Uninvited guest, the guests I did invite didn’t even put on their formal clothes. They stood in sweatpants and bunny shoes. Made sure to buy the cake last, so it would last as long as possible, but 1h after buying it it rotted. In that one hour the bride and groom got married, the guests threw some rice at no one and then I told everyone to cut the cake. Wedding ruined! Sucks cuz I do like a lot of the dresses and rings. Cute cakes and beautiful flowers. Pretty decorations and a good idea, but the outcome wasn’t good. I can deal with some bugs, but when the whole game pack is buggy, wrong and not well thought out, I get upset.
please fix the pack, make the roles of the wedding more clear for the sims. Make it so that NO sims outside of the guest list show up! Make the cakes last longer! Make the aisle work, want my sims dad to be able to walk her down the aisle! Make the toasts work! Having one person making a whole speech to no one is sad! Make the dance work! Maybe put some barrier around the end of the aisle. I just want my sims to sit when they should, stand when they should, eat, drink, dance, toast, cut the cake, When they should. Please make it up for us as a community! We spend our hard earned money on your game. We support you and are grateful when you give us stuff that works, the lowest standard of a game should be just working, and right now you as a team, company and professionals, aren’t meeting that standard
This pack is completely unplayable. I'm just reaching out to see if there are going to be bug fixes or if EA is going to be issuing refunds? None of the Wedding Ceremony actions work. There was also an issue with the wedding vail, my sim 's hair kept looking shaved and bald while wearing this style. It is very disappointing to spend $20 on a pack and not even be able to play it. Please don't ask me for specs on my pc because I assure you that is not the problem here. This was strictly a glitchy release. This pack is far from ready to be released to the public. I tried to reach out via email, but that wasn't an option. Thanks in advance.
I heard Carl's Sims Guide released a bug fix, maybe check that out? But yeah..... the sims really messed this up lmao

Again, Sims Team: I love you, I love your game, I want to love and buy this pack and I can’t in this state. Your art department is SO ON POINT, but what the heck is up with software engineering? Is it the Sims 5; is that why folks seem to be AWOL? What’s going on? Did someone set an insane unrealistic deadline with too few coders? SO disappointed! 😭
I’m going to hope that you’re working on an amazing expansion pack for this summer or amazing base game updates, and that’s why this pack got the short end of the stick. If it’s that y’all aren’t getting the time you need to make it work, please guys do better by your devs!
I can't even find any veils other than the ones that go half over the face--is there somewhere else other than in CAS that I'm missing? I was so disappointed in this pack. None of the interactions with my guests work, and my bride and groom didn't show up in the outfits I selected, but in their everyday clothes. I had also set them in the "honeymooners" scenario and it ended it early the moment I sent one of my sims elsewhere in the world. I'm hoping EA will fix the bugs ASAP, but I'm not holding my breath on getting a refund unfortunately.
@Captain_Cane16 , sorry, no, there is not any other veils except the small ones that cover the top half of the face. 🙁 It is really the same veil but has 2 color variations . This is the type of veil that is usually attached to a hat. I was really hoping for some regular bridal veils! I wish they would have included at least one long veil!
@swafj Hello! Many thanks to you, and others, for sharing your experience. I had already decided I would wait to get the pack until I saw the reviews. It sounds like there are a lot of things that are broken, so now I'm waiting for some sign that these issues will be addressed. Sure there is a mod now that fixes some of the issues and I'm so glad there are folks out there providing relief but it's really frustrating that we have to rely on mods to fix things that should never have existed to begin with. I just re-watched the livestream and so many of the things you mentioned were present in their playthrough. It is absolutely ridiculous!
The Sims 4 My Wedding Story is completely broken, EA has made no statement or attempt to fix the issues.
