Trendsetter Aspiration: Can't complete Complete Daily Career Task

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have the Trend-Setter career-development aspiration, on the second set of tasks for this aspiration there is a task called "Complete Daily Career Task", try to go to work and complete the daily career task to 100%,
What happens when the bug occurs? The aspiration task does not get completed when the steps above are followed
What do you expect to see? Complete the daily career task, aspiration task gets completed.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

My sim has the Trend-Setter career development aspiration and one of the tasks to get to the next level is to "work on daily career task". I have tried to complete the daily career task over and over again, but the task in the aspiration tab isn't getting completed. The was sim that i created in a random house in my map to have more kids in the neighbourhood. I added them to my household as a young adult and this aspiration was assigned to them.
