Unable to enter newly created house

Hi, so I'm new to all of this and I can't find tips that help out with the fact that I can't let my new Sims enter the house I built for them.

I created a new house with two new Sims and built their house up, but the problem is that when I get out of Build Mode and start playing, the Sims can't enter the house or associate at all with the house. I've tried to zoom into the house and see if I could click on something indoors but the house appears empty from the inside. What can I do to fix this and start playing?

The screenshot you took with the map is not what you see when you live at that lot.. this is what I see when I live at a lot on map view. I can also see inside the house, since I own it.Not just a floor , that is what you see when you do not live there. Have you tried to move to another house to see if you get the same result?

The mentioned screenshot was from the move screen. not the map.

Do you have any Mods or CC? If so move your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Then test the game.

If it works now check for updates to your Mods and CC. Add it back a little at a time while testing until you have found all that are broken.
Notice that there will be a major update June 2. you may want to delay putting any mods or CC back until they have been updated for this patch.
