What an awesome idea!
I'm currently playing a different somewhat similar style game which can time travel (because my Sims game is crashing uncontrollably). I could see all kinds of practical applications in the Sims. Like when my Sims get moodlets stuck for 7 days (thank you to the inheritance phone call 👎). Or when plants won't grow. Or even just when I can't wait for Finchwick Fare...or when I didn't plant my crops early enough to harvest for Finchwick Fare!
I can't see it with this incarnation of the game but maybe it's worth suggesting on the Project Rene threads too, for Sims 5.
