Week 3 - blast from the past “Repair or Replace the computer” PROBLEM library

I was doing the Time Travel Component interaction on the library PC (bc my sims poor so they don't have PCs)

Then the computer breaks and the next quest is to repair that computer. However I did that in a community lot and it doesn't let me fix the computer....

I left the lot and came back with the hopes that i could fix it, but the computer was replaced and i can't re-do any of the tasks :(

How could I fix this problem?

    Just a thought but try putting a computer on your home lot. Place it outside and make it rain (rain machine) or wait until it rains. That will break the computer. Then put it back inside and try a repair again.  That worked for me.  I don't know if calling repair person or replacing works with this method but you could try. Maybe don't save after the first time?
