Weird Terrain Glitch?
Hello!
Im not sure how or why but randomly this hill/terrain raise at the front of my house appeared and I can’t figure out how to fix it. I tried all the terrain tool options but they only affect the area around it. And I also can’t build on or over it. I didn’t notice it right away so I can’t go back in my save to see when it happened or I’d lose a LOT of game play. Anyone have any other ideas on a solution or cause??
(When I rotate the house the mound moves with it and the stairs on the back of the house didn’t change so I dont think it’s a foundation/level issue? Seems like it’s attached/part of the house somehow?)
beckyxoxx Did you add a basement under the house? If you did, you need to lower the basement until the terrain outside is flat again. Just go down to the basement level and grab the big double-sided arrow. While holding the arrow, go back up to the ground floor level so you can see the raised area, then pull down on the arrow until the ground is level again then release the arrow. You'll have to replace the stairs and landscaping that got deleted when the ground raised. Afterwards, if you have a raised foundation, when you look at the upper portion of the basement, you will see a gap. That's normal as there is no texture on the inside of foundations.
Hope this helps.
