Why are you showing Batuu is required to use other packs in Sims 4?

In the current state of Origin, I and many other simmers are seeing that when trying to purchase a pack, you are showing that in order to play the pack/game, you need to also purchase Star Wars: Journey to Batuu game pack. After this failed launch, trying to push in this direction only makes the team come off of as manipulative to the community. This has been happening for 2 weeks, none of the gurus, EA Help, etc have answered at all, they are only answer FIFA and Madden players on their twitter help pages. This is not something that can be put off, this needs to be fixed and told to ALL players. Not just one person in a tweet behind closed doors.

Do you know what. I'm even in marketing and I fell for the "To access all content" scam when all I wanted was My First Pet Stuff (for the small pets). Apparently, you can use it even without having Cats & Dogs. I really had no idea, and now it's too late to return Cats & Dogs.
Anyone who purchased Batuu under the false pretense that you need it to play any of the other Sims 4 packs needs a refund.

@EA_Leeloo I still count this as half resolved, this needs to be publicly told to the community across platforms about this issue, people who had only bought the pack because of these false ads should have a chance to ask for a refund. Frost or another guru needs to publicly state it's not required so that way people do not still believe this to be the case.

I totally agree with you on this point! This was such a dodgy, dishonest move from Origin.
