Why can’t my Sim with high skill vampire lore buy plasma packs?

My Sim is a speed reader and has rapidly leveled his vampire lore but still can’t buy plasma packs for his vampire guests. What do I need to do to solve this? I tried to attach pics but it says the file is too large and I don’t know how to make them smaller.

Maybe because he isn't a vampire?
He could instead plant plasma trees for his vampire friends.

Maybe you're just looking in the wrong place. Plasma packs can be ordered from the computer under the Vampire Secrets menu, not the Order menu where most other things are found. Your Sim doesn't need to be a vampire.
