Why is the Little Swank door 3 tiles wide?

This is a question I've had for some time that I have yet to find a good answer for

That is the Little Swank door from Get Famous. Kind of cute, modern and utterly, utterly irritating. You see, that door which fits - with some space - in two tiles, is randomly three tiles wide

And that extra tile means that you cannot centre it on a three tile wide gap. We already have an annoying lack of narrow medium wall height doors which aren't obviously meant as front doors and a massive lack of narrow medium wall height doors which don't have glass in them. A two-tile wide one would be useful and this one should have been it.

  • @Sriwynne there is a door in the Tiny Living pack that is very similar but only takes up a single space.

I agree we could use more doors for different sized spaces. The Eco Living glass doors annoy me. The sizes are quite random. I always want to use them but they don't suit all wall heights.

@simsplayer818 Unfortunately the Tiny Living door is short wall height. So while it's a very cute door, it doesn't really solve the medium wall height door problem

@Sriwynne I'd personally like all doors and windows to be available in all sizes. I end up letting them dictate which walls I choose. I end up with tall walls sometimes, which I don't really like just because I like the front doors. Then I make the interior rooms a shorter height by using platforms.
The lengths we go to for the perfect front door!
