12 years old laptop graphics are less good than PC

I'm struggling to understand what the feedback is that you are trying to put across here. I play The Sims 4 on both a desktop PC and a gaming Laptop and I see 0 difference between the two. They both output the same level of detail if your system can handle the settings all at max. It is likely that you might have Laptop mode turned in in the graphics settings and this might be making your game look different. If not then I'm not sure but the games graphics are the same on PC & Laptop.

In regards to some videos you've been seeing on YouTubers videos. A lot of them put shader overlays in their games and this can change how the game looks. This is not something The Sims 4 has built in and you would have to do that externally.

I'm not sure about the PC, but I own a PS5 and tried the game on it myselfso the difference is clear since it has the same 4K HDR10 screen

The PS5 is still running the PS4 version of The Sims 4 which is likely why you see a slight difference in how it is compared to PC. The Sims 4 has had some slight visual improvements over the years on the PC and unfortunately due to the limitations of the PS4 it probably was restricted because of the hardware.

I don't believe there is any plans on PS5 and Xbox Series versions in the future as The Sims team seems focused on quality of life updates for the game and working on other Sims titles.

If you're using Nvidia you should adjust the settings in the Nvidia Control Panel and Nvidia app to High Texture and Edge Enhancement high quality to get the best graphics quality for The Sims 4 and all other games Enable Smooth Motion in the Nvidia app to improve game performance and shader settings Choose High Speed ​​100g or Infinite for high GPU cache performance

I have all my settings set to max already 😊 I don't use the control panels to set my in game graphics.

I don't believe it is. PC and Gaming Laptops run the game better than the PS4 version runs at. From my own person experience of testing the game on both console. PC & Laptop.

Not using Nvidia settings reduces the game's graphics quality you'll notice the difference immediately when applying the settings

The PS4 is weak try the PS5 the performance is better

I have to disagree, again from my experience the game runs extremely well for my with my settings the way they are. I play it in 1440p at 144hz with DX11 enabled.
