@LeucosiaX did you hover over the dirt pile to see if the plant is out of season? If it is then it's normal for it to become a dirt pile until it's in season. - GalacticGalSeasoned AceSince I read this thread I have made certain Erik tends his garden. So far, so good. He can water, weed and harvest and the grown plant remains. Phew!
- There's some weird stuff happening with my garden. Some of my plants are reverting to dirt piles but then the next day they're back to normal. It doesn't bother me now because I know it's temporary. Could be a result of my all seasons gardening mod.

I have since fixed the plants using cheats, but it's annoying always having to click on every single one individually... - LuvtehgeeksRising TravelerStill have a few dirt piles left and no option to harvest money plants at all but I can harvest everything else
- moppy14wSeasoned NewcomerMine stayed whole and healthy until the season changed and they were no longer “in season”. That was when they reverted to plain dirt piles but I think that’s how it’s supposed to work??
Could be worth noting my seasons are only seven days long, but even that short a time was enough to notice an early reversion before the patch/fix - djsboonieNew Adventurer

@NRowe yes, plants are supposed to revert to dirt piles when the season changes & they are no longer "in season." - PandoraTOSeasoned Vanguard

Are trees also supposed to revert to dirt piles when out of season? My trees are turning to dirt piles, but it's been so long since gardens functioned normally that I can't be sure whether this is normal. I seem to remember that out-of-season trees used to just lose their leaves. Am I imagining that? - OldeSimsFanNew TravelerMy primary game installation does NOT have Seasons installed, yet my plants revert to dirt piles on a regular basis. Usually after they have been watered/weeded/fertilized. This includes trees. Have learned the hard way to harvest first, tend plants second.
