this is about EA adding more hairstyles for black players nothing else my dear.. lets stick to the subject at hand..

Both questions are related to the opening post and to adding items to the game.

The first relates to people demanding African-American hairstyles, so my question relates to what hairstyles African-Americans are actually wearing. If they are actually going to add such hairstyles to the game, it would be more marketable for EA to stick with the current trends of styling, as then people can make sims closest to what they see in real life.

And, as for the second question... I asked it because it kinda is pertinent to the discussion, given your use of the word. But, after some careful consideration, I have deleted my long explanation of why it is relevant. I agree, let's drop this.

Most black folks have type 3 or type 4 hair, ranging between curly to afro-textured. Some black women use chemical relaxers in their hair to make it straight and more manageable as tightly coiled hair can make styling difficult.

Even though I'm just your Average White Girl, I second the request for more ethnic and African-American hair styles, both with and without extras like beads, scarves, etc. I like my Sims as a group to look more diverse than they do.

I feel that -- mostly thanks to modders -- hair was done much better in TS2 as compared to TS3. It seemed to move more and be more realistic. Many of the TS3 hairstyles either make the poor Sim look like he/she has hydrocephaly or the hair itself looks stiff enough to crack an egg on.

Agree. The more hairstyles the better but yes they need to be fair :)

I would also like better dark skintones, the ones from SimsMedieval and Sims3 are just very weird.Im tan (idk why to but, just saying) but i like to do sims of a lot of diferent kinds not just that look like my clone, and i got very anoyed by the way is hard to make a pretty black sim on Thesims3. I would also like more well made dreads for both male and female.

Yes, please! I'd just love to see more textured hair period. More waves, more curls, different grades of hair, etc.

Micro Braids, also come in a variety of styles. Tiny braids, some are not braided all the way down. Though they're cute if done wrong they can leave many women bald or with hair falling out.

I used to wear my hair like this. Though I had to find another style, because as you said it can be hard on your hair. But I did really like it while I was wearing it.

I wear it more like this now. There is nothing like this in TS3.

Beyonce and Nicki Minaj only wear wigs and I wouldn't consider wavy or straight hair to be black.

I would love to see all kinds of variations of afros/braids/dreadlocks/twists/etc. I would like to see curly/wavy hair from the roots to ends not straight roots and curly ends like someone with straight hair just used rollers or the curling iron. Like this and of course the examples below as well:

Yes PLEASE! My simself's beautiful girlfriend would love some more hairstyle options! I mean she looks beautiful now, but I think it'd be nice to be able to change up her hairstyle more and my other ethnic sims are starting to all look the same because there's only so many hairstyles to choose from that look nice.
