Aging a sim up faster?

Make a cake and put candles on it and have them eat it.

Anyone who eats it will age up though so be careful and save first.

I've had my whole family *eat* the cake with no aging up. Specific other interactions - making a wish, etc. - will age a Sim up. Maybe being the first to take a piece that has candles too? I suspect it's mostly just a matter of making sure the right Sim gets there first?

Buy a cake! I'm glad this doesn't work IRL lol

On this same subject, my baby is not auto aging to a child even though I got a notification that it was time ..Do I have to do this myself or will the baby age eventually?

@Glimmer50 your baby should age up automatically like the day after you get a notification that it's the babys birthday

Will this work if I have aging off? Haven't done the whole baby route yet but I like playing with aging off and I know the baby can't exactly blow some candles out >.>

@Crackseed thats probably why they gave the option of "age up" when you click on the baby
so if you have aging off i'd probably age the baby up by clicking on it :P

Well that is why I asked - I wasn't aware it had an actual age-up command on it haha :)
